In my free time, I enjoy going to galleries and museums, which I blog about on my Instagram platform @amylouisefrance. I enjoy reading, going to the gym and in the evening to relax I knit blankets for dogs in shelters and other crafts.

Online Trading Assistant- Marks & Spencer                         

Oct 2021- present

Supporting the beauty, home & furniture online merchandising team and working closely with the buying, offshore and commercial teams. Reviewing the site on app, desktop and mobile daily to ensure the best customer journey and identify opportunities for development and growth. Planning and executing department landing pages, making sure key campaigns and promotional events are online. Updating every two weeks & sometimes once a week depending on promotions. Analyzing weekly sales performances of web metrics and making relevant changes to the site based on the data to drive sales and conversion.

Marketing Assistant – Southbank Centre                               May 2021- Jul 2021

Supported with emails, ads, digital assets, and schedules across various campaigns. Wrote copy and developed over ten email marketing campaigns, across summer reunion, Hayward gallery, family, and access emails. Worked with various teams across the company and external agencies. Made sure the website was up to date with correct information.

Kept the online database up to date and organised. Wrote weekly copy for google ads and paid ads. Coordinated campaign schedules.

 
Camp Wild- Freelance Marketing                                       Apr 2020- Sep 2021

Redesigned their website and helped them create brand consistency by using the same fonts and colours. Created new posters and graphics to use both on the website and social media. Managed their social media, developing a social media strategy, finding the best times to post for their demographic, and using relevant hashtags. I also reached out to local Facebook communities to gain more camp attendees and replied to any questions or comments on social media. I am also a camp photographer and leader.

Marketing & Branding Freelance for DGN Network

Lead the rebranding, by developing a new brand logo, font, colour scheme and website, to give the brand a fresh and consistent look. Managed their social media profiles by creating graphics and grew their Instagram following from 200 to 450 by developing a social media strategy, finding the best times to post for their demographic, and using relevant hashtags.

 
Marketing Assistant at Bayley & Sage                          
Jan 2020 – Apr 2020

Wrote copy for press releases, invites, posters, and leaflets communicating and delivering the correct information about the current events making sure it was in the Bayley & Sage tone. Organised all in-store marketing material to make sure the correct material was delivered to the correct store on time. Assisted with a successful store opening, and product launch including the launch parties. Responsible for a research project about food waste, meeting with various charities to discuss potential partnerships. This was a project I was passionate about. During quieter periods, I would assist with admin, updating and organising online files.

Catwalk assistant for Nina Naustdal  
16th Sep 2019
On the 16th of September, I volunteered at Nina Naustdal  S20 Catwalk show my duties were to make the goodie bags and set up events including arranging seating and wardrobe. I registered the photographers and told them where they could take photos before and during the show. During the show, I had to call the models the models walked on time. As well as all this I also took photos of behind the scenes for her Instagram.
 
Event Coordinator at Launch22

Responsible for the end-to-end event processes putting on 30 events ranging from 20-40 guests. Researching and reaching out to potential clients such as the co-founder of Olio, researching new event ideas. Showing new clients around the building and giving them the relevant information they need. Putting the events on the website and making sure no event was double-booked as well as creating tickets on Eventbrite. Promoting the events by writing monthly newsletters and posting regularly on social media, reaching an audience of roughly 1000.

Social Media Intern at Future Female

Future Female is a community promoting everyday equality for social change. Empowering humans with everyday language to reframe thinking around habitual sexism, conscious or otherwise. “The female stories and important conversations we feature, resonate with women across generations, because we are women intent on making a difference to our lives by speaking up when the everyday conversation is obviously sexist. Whether you are 14 or 74, a female-focused derogatory comment affects you.  At Future female, I create Instagram content and research other brands and activists that promote gender equality. Gender equality is something I am very passionate about and has been a subject in a lot of my university work, working at Future Female has both inspired me and shown me how a new brand builds itself up and engages with customers.

My duties included coming up with new content for Instagram twice a day. This consisted of creating content on Photoshop, styling, shooting content and coming up with captions. This helped me develop my Photoshop and organizational skills and creativity. I also produced newsletters and updated Facebook and Pinterest pages with the new collections.

 

Fashion Stylist Intern at Fabulous Magazine 

 Jun  2017-  Jul 2017

My duties were to mail out the magazine and maintain the system to keep the distribution list updated.  Maintain and organize the fashion cupboards and stock by labeling all the samples. Return samples; do special deliveries where dockets had to be made and couriers booked. Assist on shoots at a studio and on location, where outfits had to be packed, hung, steamed, and organized into outfits. After shoots, I would write up the credits.

As a trained denim expert, I assisted customers with all their questions.

Cashiering and keeping the stockroom tidy, putting away new stock.

I was on the visual merchandise team where I helped create shop displays and kept the shop looking presentable. In-house stylist training in May 2016, bra fitting training in July 2016.

Round About Cafe is a community cafe run by volunteers only, they also put on events and workshops at the cafe. Since volunteering at the cafe I have learned skills such as using the coffee machine and baking, volunteering there has also boosted my confidence.

 
WellBees

The Wellbees are a team of students volunteers who run events throughout the year at Solent University. They offer support, guidance and provide information on where students can seek advice on a number of issues and promote healthy living and positive wellbeing. So far at the Wellbees I have helped come up with some event ideas and assisted at some events too.
